i texted her when i got back
she had never been so upset
that they had talked, she had felt i
abandoned her for the weekend

if we were way back in ’15 i’d have so many friends
but i had to wake up finally and stop playing pretend
it took me long enough to put my shoes on and go outside
so i could go to the skatepark and waste all of my time

i’m super glad that we don’t talk
so hopefully you’ll forget the things
i had said when we first met
i needed all the attention
